Expired security certificates disallow logins to SITEFORUM 3.x and 2.x portals

The Java Cryptography Extension (JCE) 1.2.1 is an optional package for J2SE 1.2.x and 1.3.x that provides a framework and implementations for encryption, key generation, key agreement, and Message Authentication Code (MAC) algorithms. The digital certificate that was used to sign the JCE 1.2.1 jar files will expire on July 27, 2005, after which the product will no longer function.
A detailled description is available at http://sunsolve.sun.com/search/document.do?assetkey=1-26-101796-1&searchclause=JCE%201.2.1

The result is that you cannot login to any SITEFORUM 3.x or 2.x portal anymore.

Follow these steps to fix the problem:

1. Download the JCE 1.2.2 from our website at http://www.siteforum.com .
2. Upload the file to your server and place it in the /opt/[siteforum]/lib directory
3. Unzip it there. 4 files will be extracted.
4. Now modify the file /opt/[siteforum]/var/local/srv/etc/classpath.txt.template and rename the entry:

wrapper.classpath=#__ROOT__#/lib/javax_security_jce1_2_1.jar

to

wrapper.classpath=#__ROOT__#/lib/jce1_2_2.jar

5. Save the file.
6. Restart SITEFORUM.
