How to increase the HEAP size of the Java virtual machine in SITEFORUM 3.x and 4.x?

Please follow these steps to increase the HEAP size of the Java virtual machine:

Linux Environment:

• Stop SITEFORUM using the "siteforum stop" command
• Edit the file catalina.sh in /opt/siteforum/tomcat/bin/ directory
• Search for the entry Xmx
• Change the default 256M to the new HEAP size such as 512M
• Start SITEFORUM using the "siteforum start" command

Windows Environment:

• Stop SITEFORUM by stopping the SITEFORUM.tomcat service/LI>
• Edit the file catalina.bat in [SITEFORUM]\tomcat\bin directory
• Search for the entry set JAVA_OPTS=-Xmx256M
• Change the default 256M to the new HEAP size such as 512M
• Start SITEFORUM by starting the SITEFORUM.tomcat service
