Yvonne Wisniewski, Online Marketing specialist in VBL, is interviewed about the company's use of the internet as a communication channel, future online developments for VBL and  the importance of the partnership with SITEFORUM.

SITEFORUM, as online services supplier, features in all of Yvonne's answers. Since 2004 VBL has worked closely with SITEFORUM on many aspects of online communication. During this time the main company portal www.vbl.de has been developed and many online business processes were jointly designed, developed and implemented.

VBL uses standard SITEFORUM applications including document publishing, web content management, online Wiki, marketing campaigns, customer support and online seminar bookings. A number of custom applications have also been developed including an online pension calculator which has proved very popular. VBL also uses the SITEFORUM platform as an Intranet for their 900 employees and are using some of the social networking features in successful micro-portals for internal groups such as the "VBL Trainee Portal".
