Most business professionals are now connected online via social services like Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Xing but there are very limited options for companies to “network” to find industry partners. The first social B2B-network for the ICT sector
Partnercloud.eu has now been live for a couple of months and features specific networking tools for the ICT sector. Hardware manufacturers, software developers and telecommunications companies can quickly make great use of the system. There are two membership types: free Basic Membership with a restricted scope of functions and Business Membership for a flat fee of 69 Euro per month for corporations.
The full range of social networking functions
Partnercloud offers a large number of fully-integrated tools on its high-performance Web 2.0 platform, including forums, wikis, groups, blogs, webcasts, chats, video conferences, feeds, surveys, virtual events and online exhibitions.
One particularly powerful feature is the Network Groups which have been specially enhanced for this site and are perfect for creating sub-communities such as Channel groups. Companies can create their own Network Groups which they can use for their own private communication and collaboration needs. Showtime for member companies
Partnercloud is about ICT companies (Cloudbridge Consulting checks all companies upon registration to confirm their ICT focus) and member companies can showcase themselves by uploading sales material, customer references and product demos including audio and video files about their solutions.
The site includes a capability profile for each company to help users find exactly the right companies. The capability profile is completed by each company and includes details of their main areas of expertise as well as strategic alliances already in place. This information is automatically fed into an external company catalogue and optimised for search engine queries.

A Successful Start
Already more than 200 ICT companies and 500 individuals have registered with Partnercloud and Cloudbridge Consulting expects the number of members to rise by up to 1,000 companies and more than 3,000 individuals by the end of the year.
