Statistics

The Statistics Manager gives you an opportunity to check detailed portal statistics, which are being updated every 5 minutes.

1. Overview

  1. Click the button Portal Manager, to get to the administrative area.
  2. Then click Tools & Administration > Statistic.
    You get to the overview, where various statistics are displayed:

    • General statistics shows the general visitors information:
      • Under Visitors the number of site visitors (registered users and guests) is displayed.
      • Under Accesses (PI) you will find the whole number of accesses (page impressions).
      • Under PI / Visitor the average number of accesses per visitor is displayed.
    • Elements track the current number of various elements on the portal, such as:
      Stories, Users, Blogs, Comments, CMS files and Network files
    • Visitors display the daily visitors statistic of the last week.
      More detailed visitors statistics are available under 2. Visitors.
    • Accesses (PI) display the daily statistic of portal accesses in the last week.
    • Registered users display the daily statistic of registered users visits in the last week.
      Information about new registered users is available under 3. Activities.
    • Accesses (PI) / Visitors displays the average number of accesses per visitor, calculated daily in the last week.

  3. Select the tab Year to check the corresponding statistics of the last two years.
    A yearly overview is available for Visitors, Accesses (PI), Registered users and the ratio Accesses (PI) / Visitors.
  4. Select the tab Month to check the monthly statistics of the last two years.
    A monthly overview is available for Visitors, Accesses (PI), Registered users and the ratio Accesses (PI) / Visitors.

2. Visitors (Year)

  1. Click the button Portal Manager, to get to the administrative area.
  2. Then click Tools & Administration > Statistic > Visitors (Year).
  3. Select a year.
  4. You get to the overview, where detailed visitors statistics of the last two years are displayed.

    • Under Month the months of the corresponding year are listed. The year is shown in the current tab.
    • Under Days the number of days for each month is displayed.
    • Graphic Visitors refers to the number of visitors in the corresponding month.
    • Under Distribution the number of visitors is shown in percent for the current year.
    • Under Visitors exact visitor numbers are shown for each month.
    • Under Accesses the number of site accesses is shown for each month.
    • Under Visitors / Day the average number of visitors per day is displayed for each month.
    • Under Accesses / Day the average number of site accesses per day is displayed for each month.
    • Under Accesses / Visitor the average number of accesses per visitor is displayed for each month.

3. Activities

  1. Click the button Portal Manager, to get to the administrative area.
  2. Then click Tools & Administration > Statistic > Activities.
  3. Select a year and a month.
  4. You get to the overview, where a daily updated statistics of visitors' activities is displayed.
    Daily activity reports for portal administrators are also based on these statistics.

    • of new users: the number of new registered users in the corresponding period
    • of user logins: the total number of logins in the corresponding period
    • of edited user profiles: the number of user profiles, which have been edited in the corresponding period
    • of new content menus: the number of menus created in the corresponding period
    • of new stories/content: the number of stories created in the corresponding period
    • of edited stories: the number of stories being edited in the corresponding period
    • of new catalogs: the number of shop catalogs created in the corresponding period
    • of new products: the number of shop products created in the corresponding period
    • of edited products: the number of shop products being edited in the corresponding period
    • of received orders: the number of shop orders received in the corresponding period
    • of new proposals: the number of shop proposals created in the corresponding period
    • of new folders: the number of DMS folders created in the corresponding period
    • of uploaded documents: the number of DMS documents uploaded in the corresponding period
    • of downloaded documents: the number of DMS documents downloaded in the corresponding period
    • of new forums: the number of forums created in the corresponding period
    • of new forum messages: the number of forum messages posted in the corresponding period
    • of sent system emails: the number of system emails sent in the corresponding period
    • of sent subscription emails: the number of subscription emails sent in the corresponding period
    • of sent campaign emails: the number of campagn emails sent in the corresponding period
    • of sent webmail emails: the number of webmail emails sent in the corresponding period
    • of new polls: the number of polls created in the corresponding period
    • of new tasks: the number of tasks created in the corresponding period
    • of new seminars/events: the number of seminars/events created in the corresponding period
    • of newly received seminar/event bookings: the number of seminar/event bookings received in the corresponding period
    • of new conferences: the number of conferences created in the corresponding period
    • of new helpdesk tickets: the number of helpdesk tickets received in the corresponding period
    • of successfully closed tickets: the number of helpdesk tickets closed in the corresponding period
    • of visitors: the number of site visitors in the corresponding period
    • of page impressions: the whole number of portal accesses in the corresponding period
    • of completed forms: the number of forms completed in the corresponding period
    • of form entries: the whole number of form entries received in the corresponding period
    • of connected users: the number of users having at least one contact
    • of user connections: the whole number of user connections (contacts)
    • of users with profile image: the number of registered users having a profile image
    • of users with personal homepage: the number of users who indicated a personal homepage in the profile
    • of social network groups: the number of network groups in the corresponding period
    • of active users: the number of users who signed in in the corresponding period

    The corresponding sums for each category and month are shown in the last column/line.

4. Keywords

  1. Click the button Portal Manager, to get to the administrative area.
  2. Then click Tools & Administration > Statistic > Keywords.
  3. Here you can view, which search terms were used and how often.

    Tab Keywords:
    • In the column Keywords you can view all search terms used.
    • In the column Count you can check the number of search requests for a certain term.
    • Graphic displays the frequency of search requests for each term.

    Tab History:
    • Time displays the exact time, when the corresponding search request took place.
    • Keyword shows the search term.

6. Subscriptions

  1. Click the button Portal Manager, to get to the administrative area.
  2. Then click Tools & Administration > Statistic > Subscriptions.
  3. This statistic lists all current users with subscriptions and the e-mails sent to them.
    Here you can also set up an automatic notification about contents from one or more menus for the users of your web portal.

    Tab Recipients:
    • Under Subscriptions the number of subscription emails sent to the corresponding person is shown.
    • Name shows the first and the last name of the user.
    • Under Email Details you can view the list of all subscription emails sent to the corresponding person.
      The following details are available:
      • Sent time shows the exact time when the emails was sent
      • Type of the element shows the type of the subscription email
      • Subject / Name of the element shows the name of the subscription email and the corresponding subject.
    • Recipients Details links to the corresponding user profile.

    Tab Automatic Notification:
    With this function you can define subscriptions of contents from one or more menus for all users of your web portal. When a new story is published in one of the menus, all portal users will automatically receive an e-mail. This function is useful e.g. in case of a change in your general terms and conditions. You will have to notify your users of this change and can use the automatic forwarding of the changes in general terms and conditions.
    Note: There has to be at least one story in a menu that can be mailed.
    • Under Menu select a menu for the automatic notification
    • Mark the corresponding checkbox on the left
    • Click Save when ready.

7. Stories

  1. Click the button Portal Manager, to get to the administrative area.
  2. Then click Tools & Administration > Statistic > Stories.
  3. You get to the overview, where stories statistics are displayed:

    • Accesses display the daily statistic of whole story accesses in the last week.
    • Most viewed stories display 15 most popular stories with exact numbers of accesses for each story.

  4. Select the tab Year to check the corresponding statistics of the last two years.
  5. Select the tab Month to check the monthly statistics of the last two years.
