1. Overview Trade Shows

As an operator you have comprehensive settings in the trade show administration regarding trade shows, exhibitor halls, booths, etc.
  • Click the link Trade show administration to get to the administrative area.
You get to the overview of all existing trade shows:
  • Name Shows the name of the trade show.
  • Statistic By clicking the icon you get to the statistics of the chosen trade show, q.v. 1.2 Statistic.
  • Webcasts By clicking the icon you get to the webcast administration, q.v. 4. Overview Webcasts.
  • Exhibition Halls By clicking the link you get to the next level, the exhibition halls, q.v. 2. Overview Exhibition Halls.
  • Display By clicking the icon you get to the lobby of the chosen trade show.
  • Edit By clicking the icon you get to the editing mode, q.v. 1.4 Edit.
  • Delete By clicking the icon you can delete the trade show, q.v. 1.5 Delete.

1.1 Add

  1. Click the link Trade show administration to get to the administrative area.
  2. In the overview of all trade shows click the tab Add.
  3. Enter in the field Name a name for the trade show.
  4. Enter in the field Description a short description to describe the trade show.
  5. Enter in the field Manager (Company) the company, whose managers will have full access to editing the trade show.
  6. Enable the field Lobby to provide a lobby in the trade show. Enter in the field Name behind a name. Choose below from the selection box Template the corresponding template.
    Note: If you don't need to provide a lobby, then disable the checkbox in front of the field Lobby.
  7. Enable the field Networking Lounge to provide a networking lounge in the trade show. Enter in the field Name behind a name. Choose below from the selection box Template the corresponding template.
    Note: If you don't need to provide a networking lounge, then disable the checkbox in front of the field Networking Lounge.
  8. Enable the field Webcast to provide a webcast in the trade show. Enter in the field Name behind a name. Choose below from the selection box Template the corresponding template. Enter in the field Description a description for the webcast.
    Note: If you don't need to provide a webcast, then disable the checkbox in front of the field Webcast.
  9. Choose in the area Show empty booths in hall if empty booths should be shown in the exhibition hall.
  10. Choose in the area Show online users of trade show if users sould be shown when they are online.
  11. Choose in the area Show chat in trade show if you want to provide the chat area.
  12. Enable the checkbox Feed to display a newsflash feed the networking lounge. Choose from the selection aside the desired newsflash.
  13. Click the button Save when ready.
You get back to the overview of all existing trade shows.

1.2 Statistic

  1. Choose in the overview of all existing trade shows the show which statistic you want to enter.
  2. Click the icon Statistic.
  3. Choose from the selection box Year the desired year.
  4. Choose from the selection box Room the desired room.
  5. Click the button Auswählen.

1.3 Display

  1. Choose in the overview of all existing trade shows the show you want to view.
  2. Click the icon Display.
You get to the lobby of the chosen trade show.
Note: To get back to the administration click the link Trade show administration.

1.4 Edit

  1. Choose in the overview of all existing trade shows the show you want to edit.
  2. Click the icon Edit.
  3. Edit the fields as desired, q.v. 1.1 Add.
  4. Click the button Save when ready.

1.5 Delete

  1. Choose in the overview of all existing trade shows the show you want to delete.
  2. Click the icon Delete.
  3. Confirm the erasing procedure by clicking the button OK.

2. Overview Exhibition Halls

  1. Click the link Trade show administration to get to the administrative area.
  2. Choose in the overview of all existing trade shows the show to which you want to add an exhibition hall.
  3. Click the link n Hall(s)/m booths in the column Exhibition Halls.
You get to the overview of all exhibition halls.
  • Name Shows the name of the hall.
  • Booths By clicking the link you get to the next level, to the overview of all booths, q.v. 3. Overview Booths.
  • Display By clicking the icon you get to the chosen hall.
  • Edit By clicking the icon you get to the editing mode, q.v. 2.3 Edit.
  • Delete By clicking the icon you can delete the hall, q.v. 2.4 Delete.
You may also change the order of halls in the list. Just do the following:
  • go with the mouse over the hall name until a crosshairs appears,
  • hold the left mouse button and drag the hall to the desired spot,
  • drop the hall by releasing the mouse button.

2.1 Add

  1. Click in the overview of all exhibition halls the tab Add.
  2. Enter in the field Name einen Namen für die Halle ein.
  3. Enter in the field Description a description.
  4. Choose from the selection box Template the template which defines the layout of the hall.
  5. Click the button Save when ready.
You get back to the overview of all exhibition halls. To add a booth to the new hall, q.v. 3. Overview Booths.

2.2 Display

  1. Choose in the overview of all existing halls the hall you want to view.
  2. Click the icon Display.
You get to the chosen exhibition hall.
Note: To get back to the administration click the link Trade show administration.

2.3 Edit

  1. Choose in the overview of all existing halls the hall you want to edit.
  2. Click the icon Edit.
  3. Edit the fields as desired, q.v. 2.1 Edit.
  4. Click the button Save when ready.

2.4 Delete

  1. Choose in the overview of all existing halls the hall you want to delete.
  2. Click the icon Delete.
  3. Confirm the erasing procedure by clicking the button OK.

3. Overview Booths

  1. Click the link Trade show administration to get to the administrative area.
  2. Choose in the overview of all trade shows the show whose booths you want to manage.
  3. Click the link n hall(s)/m booths in the column Exhibition Halls.
  4. Choose in the overview of all exhibition halls the hall whose booths you want to manage.
  5. Click the link n booths in the column Booths.
You get to the overview of all existing booths.
  • Name Shows the name of the booth.
  • Display By clicking the icon you get to the chosen booth.
  • Edit By clicking the icon you get to the editing mode, q.v. 3.3 Edit.
  • Delete By clicking the icon you can delete the booth, q.v. 3.4 Delete.

3.1 Add

  1. Click the tab Add.
  2. Enter in the field Name a name for the booth.
    Note: The name may consist of 24 characters only.
  3. Enter in the field Description a description.
    Note: The description is for administrative purposes only and not visible for visitors.
  4. Choose from the selection box Template the template which defines the layout of the booth.
  5. Choose from the selection box Company the compnay who exhibits on the booth.
  6. In the area Content you provide the content of the booth:
    Note: You can enter optional content on the three panels, HTML is also possible.
    1. Left panel for the left side of the booth. Enter in the field Title a title. Choose from the selection box Content the desired content.
      Note: For editing the content, q.v. 5. Manage Company.
      Enter in the field Text on left panel the desired text.
    2. Center panel for the center of the booth. Enter in the field Text below screen the desired text which is supposed to appear below the video.
      Note: Content may consist of 30 words only.
    3. Right panel for the right side of the booth. Enter in the field Title a title. Choose from the selection box Content the desired content.
      Note: For editing the content, q.v. 5. Manage Company.
      Enter in the field Text on right panel the desired text.
  7. Choose in the area Style the style of the booth.
  8. Choose in the area Color the desired color.
  9. Choose in the area Staff the desired staff.
    Note: You can also upload an image of youself.
  10. Choose in the area Position in hall from the selection box the position of the booth in the hall.
  11. Click the button Save when ready.

3.2 Display

  1. Choose in the overview of all existing booths the booth you want to view.
  2. Click the icon Display.
    You get to the booth.
Note: To get back to the administration, click the link Trade show administration.

3.3 Edit

There're 3 ways to edit your booth:
    • Choose in the overview of all existing booths the booth you want to edit.
    • Select Actions > Edit.
    • Edit the booth as desired, q.v. 3.1 Add.
    • Under Custom images you may select additional images for your booth:
      • Under Staff you may upload custom staff pictures. Please use the *.png format only.
      • Under Booth Background Image you may upload a corresponding background image. This background will be shown in the booth view.
      • Under Booth Background Image (Exhibition Hall) you may upload a booth background, which will be shown in the hall view.
    • Click the button Save when ready.

    • Choose in the overview of all existing booths the booth you want to edit.
    • Select Actions > View.
    • Click the Actions button and select Edit Mode On.
      Now the booth can be edited directly in the view mode (not in the tradeshow administration):
      • If you want to edit some booth content, click on the corresponding Edit icon, displayed on each panel.
      • If you want to change color, style, staff or uploads, click on the corresponding icon at the bottom of the booth.
    • Click the button Save when ready.

    • Open your company profile.
    • Select the tab Virtual events.
    • Choose the booth you want to edit and click on Display/Edit to change the design settings.
    • Edit the booth as desired, as described above in the second section.
    • Click the button Save when ready.

3.4 Delete

  1. Choose in the overview of all existing booths the booth you want to delete.
  2. Click the icon Delete.
  3. Confirm the erasing procedure by clicking the button OK.

4. Overview Webcasts

  1. Click the link Trade show administration to get to the administrative area.
  2. Choose in the overview of all existing trade shows the show to which you want to add a webcast.
  3. Click the icon Webcasts.
You get to the overview of all existing webcasts.
  • Time Shows the date and time of the webcast.
  • Name Shows the name of the webcast.
  • Company Shows the company whose webcast it is.
  • Speaker Shows, if present, the speaker that is assigned to the webcast.
  • Display By clicking the icon you can view the webcast, q.v. 4.2 Display.
  • Edit By clicking the icon you get to the editing mode, q.v. 4.3 Edit.
  • Delete By clicking the icon you can delete the webcast, q.v. 4.4 Delete.

4.1 Add

  1. Click the tab Add.
  2. Choose from the selection box Begin when the webcast starts.
  3. Choose from the selection box End when the webcast ends.
  4. Choose from the selection box Company the company whose webcast it is.
  5. Choose from the selection box Speaker to assign a user as Speaker to the webcast.
  6. Enter in the field Name a name for the webcast.
  7. Enter in the field Content the acutal content.
    Note: Use the WYSIWYG editor to integrate a video or a live stream.
  8. Click the button Save when ready.

4.2 Display

  1. Choose in the overview of all existing webcasts the webcast which you want to view.
  2. Click the icon Display.
You get to the webcast auditorium where the webcasts takes place.
Note: To get back to the administration click the link Trade show administration.

4.3 Edit

  1. Choose in the overview of all existing webcasts the webcast which you want to edit.
  2. Click the icon Edit.
  3. Edit the fields as desired, q.v. 4.1 Add.
  4. Click the button Save when ready.

4.4 Delete

  1. Choose in the overview of all existing webcasts the webcast which you want to delete.
  2. Click the icon Delete.
  3. Confirm the erasing procedure by clicking the button OK.

5. Manage Company

Users with the role "Company Manager" or "Company Director" are able to edit details of the company.
Note: A "Company Manager" has the permission to edit his company administratively. A "Company Director" can edit the company as well, but he can also bequest the memberships he bought to the employees of the company, which are users who are assigned to the company.
To geht to the management of the company please do the following:
  1. Click the link Trade show administration to get to the administrative area.
  2. Choose in the overview of all existing trade shows the show which contains the company you want to edit.
  3. Click the link n hall(s)/m booths in the column Exhibition Halls.
  4. If necessary choose the hall which contains the company you want to edit and click the link n booths in the column Booth.
  5. If necessary choose the booth and click the icon Edit.
  6. Click the link Edit Company below the selection box Company.
You get to the editing mode of the company.

6. Templates

With templates you can define the layout of the single rooms.
  1. Click the link Trade show administration to get to the administrative area.
  2. In the overview click the tab Templates.
You get to the overview of alle existing templates:
  • Name (Template type) Shows the name of the templates and in brackets the room.
  • Edit By clicking the icon you get to the editing mode, q.v. 6.2 Edit.
  • Delete By clicking the icon you can delete the template, q.v. 6.3 Delete.

6.1 Add

  1. Click the tab Add.
  2. Enter in the field Name a name for the template.
  3. Enter in the field Description a description.
  4. Enter in the field Code the HTML code which defines the template.
  5. Choose from the selection box Template Type the type of room for which the template is.
  6. Click the button Save when ready.

6.2 Edit

  1. Choose the template you want to edit.
  2. Click the icon Edit.
  3. Edit the template as desired, q.v. 6.1 Add.
  4. You may use different placeholders in your templates: the corresponding list is shown below the code.
  5. If you edit a booth template, you may also specify a custom background image below the code.
  6. Click the button Save when ready.

6.3 Delete

  1. Choose the template you want to delete.
  2. Click the icon Delete.
  3. Confirm the erasing procedure by clicking the button OK.
