On July 1st 2014, the ECE shopping center launched the use of the app MYFAVORITO. Already after 8 months around 5,000 customers have installed the app. These customers can not only subscribe to the contents of the center, but also to individual tenants. Over 23,000 subscribers are regularly informed about the latest offers, news and jobs of their favorite stores.
The possibilities to provide self-determined information to subscribers, has already convinced 56 tenants who present themselves with their own presence in the app. The tenants can, for example, independently perform competitions in the app and reward their customers with a digital loyalty system or with small welcome gifts. The most successful tenant can already regularly inform more than 2,700 customers and connect these long term.
For these achievements, various center-wide actions are responsible. The present paper bonus book was made available to customers in the app for two months. Here the redemption of coupons rate was well above the rate of the printed counterparts with 11.7 %.
The center-wide digital contest "scan + win" was also carried out for 2 months. With the participation of tenants and other external sponsors a variety of prizes could be made available. The result was more than 5500 contest participations. 600 contestants were able to collect their prizes at the individual tenants. Along with collecting the prizes, additional sales were carried out in the stores, so that the tenants involved are very pleased with the outcome and increase sales.
All contest participants are now available for the tenants directly through the app and can be informed about the latest news of their favorite stores. The input of the customer data by hand is not necessary, since a digital customer database is automatically created by using the app.
