1. Activate Service

  • Tools & Administration > Portal Settings > Services
  • Facebook™ App - activate Gateway and status Status
  • Twitter ™ App - create and activate

2. Add connections

Here you can add new connections to available providers. A distinction is made between the general portal connections or private user connections. The private user connections are listed under "My page > Settings". The previous Citrix and Google Drive connections are listed under the "More ..." tab.
  • click on "Connections" under Tools & Administration > Portal Settings > Services
  • click on the "+ Connection" button
  • select and add connection

3. Add posts

Posts are individual messages, which can be created with content like blogs or stories. With the new system you can manage these posts and it is possible to "re-post" as well as correct them. Furthermore the content can be posted several times over the next days via your existing connections. You can also add single or multiple posts via the Add button and then distribute them to your individual connection channels.
  • click on "Posts" under Tools & Administration > Portal Settings > Services
  • click on the "+ Post" button
  • fill in details and select how many times it should be posted
  • save
Select the post in the overview and choose how many times and when it should be distributed to your channels via Actions.

4. View schedule

Here you can view a list of any scheduled posts for the next 2 weeks. Depending on processing, the posts are moved to the archive or are listed with an error messages - for example if the connection has been disabled. On the timeline in the upper section you can see how many posts are scheduled for the next days. Selecting mass operations, you can postpone existing posts, for example +2 days later.
  • Tools & Administration > Portal Settings > Services
  • click on the "Schedule" tab
If you have already planned general, portal-wide posts, these are displayed in this overview - via the Actions button next to a post, you can change the schedule or delete it

5. User specific connections


These personal settings for the end user are further restricted and show existing connections and posts.
Users can connect their external user accounts, such as Twitter or Facebook, through My Page> Settings.
  • click on the "+ Connection" button
  • Select and add connection

5.1 Add post

6. Share blogs, stories and events

In the process of creating blogs, stories, and events you can select connections directly at the bottom of the page when you activate the "Share - Send a notification to my friends in social networks." button. Here you can also add new connections - you will be returned to the page after verification.

Currently only Network Managers can additionally select any portal-wide connections here.
